Hi there! Thanks for visiting – let me introduce myself a little!

Growing up in Central Pennsylvania, I became a Christian at an early age through the influence of my family and church.  I have the examples of many to thank for the strength of my Christian Faith. This specifically includes my mother, Eunice, who shined for Jesus Christ through her battle with breast cancer. You’ll hear me talk about her a lot. Her testimony still speaks to who I want to be.

Currently, I have the honor to serve as the executive pastor at Bethany Wesleyan Church in Cherryville, PA.  This is my fourth ministry position.  I have also served as the lead pastor of the North Collins Wesleyan Church, as the pastor of family ministries at Bethany Wesleyan (where I was ordained in 2006). It feels odd to say it, but I have been in ministry for a bit, all the way since 2004. At that time, I served as the assistant pastor at Pine Grove Wesleyan.

My family is such a blessing! I met my wife, Julie, at Houghton University and we were married in Boston in August of 2004. She has her masters degree and license in Marriage and Family Therapy. Pretty much, she is the greatest. Anything good on this blog comes with heavy influence from her!   We have been blessed with a daughter, Stella, and two sons, Seth and Sawyer.  I love my family.  They are an abundant source of strength and encouragement.

I love strengthening families and seeing people of all ages develop a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ. My life verse is John 10:10.
